Our hats off to the famous Legs Inn in Cross Village, a popular destination with all who travel to Northern Michigan! They recently received a nod as one of 14 “Great Michigan Eats” by The Detroit Free Press. The feature appeared in the paper’s Michigan Section and was titled “You Haven’t Lived Here Until…You’ve Sampled a Michigan Smorgasbord.”

From Hearthside Grove, Legs Inn is a gorgeous drive along the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, and is a favorite activity by car or motorcycle. Fitting into the season

We’ve had a wonderful introduction to Spring here at Hearthside with quick snow melt, warm sunshine and the promise of green at every corner. Makes us mindful of our desire to be healthy and well all year long, so in an effort to keep ourselves fit, foremost, Hearthside wants to share that we’ve added a couple new things to the fitness center:Kettlebells, segmented/weighted jump ropes, push up bars and a few new workout dvds. The fitness center is open daily and scheduled exercise happens MWF every week in the summer season. See you in fit style this season!

Colman’s host us in King Konch style

While rallying in Tampa, friends and owners at Hearthside Grove were hosted in lovely style by John and Linda Colman, with local traditions like shrimp gumbo, cuban sandwiches, greek salad with potato salad tucked in underneath, and cocktails for dock-side ‘cruising’ aboard their motor yacht King Konch~even despite the weather. Smiles all around!

Wayne and Lorene Rose were our proud guests of honor at the ARVC Awards in Orlando Florida last month, where Hearthside Grove was honored with first place for “direct mail piece” (think Motorcoach Living magazine).

And for all of you who wonder what we do in the winter months when your smiling faces are not on-site, we produce this magazine (among other things!) and, it has paid off. Stay tuned for Motorcoach Living 2010, and the Motorcoach Living tour, coming to a resort near you throughout the winter season.
